    Middle School Resource SPED Teacher

    Job Summary:

    The job of "Resource SPED - Middle School" is done for the purpose/s of facilitating student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.


    Qualifications:
    Arizona Teaching Certificate appropriate to grades 6-8. Desire to work with below grade level readers typically identified as at-risk and LEP. Trained and proficient in delivering effective instructional resource approaches on a pull-out basis with one to two students at a time. Possess skills as instructional facilitator for other faculty members related to reading instruction. We desire a student-centered individual with strong instructional skills and staff development skills specific to reading instruction.
